As a busy parent, I don’t always have time to pre-read a book to determine if it’s appropriate for my child to read. Is a book meant for high school age kids automatically off-limits to an 11-year old? Maybe. But maybe not. This site offers reviews of Young Adult and Children’s books from the point of view of a parent who wishes to encourage reading above grade level but wanting to make sure the reading material is still age-appropriate.
