Premise:  When class stud Wesley Rush tells Bianca that she is her group’s DUFF – Designated Ugly Fat Friend – she responds by throwing her drink in his face. But deep inside, Bianca suspects that Wesley might be telling the truth. Her best friends are gorgeous and popular, while Bianca is the smart, plain one even if she isn’t really fat. When Bianca’s mother announces that she wants a divorce and her father returns to drinking in order to ease his pain, Bianca begins a secret, sexual relationship with Wesley. As the couple get to know each other, Bianca comes to learn that Wesley has problems of his own.

Potential Points of Concern: Bianca is a sexually active teen, who lost her virginity at 14 to an 18 year old boy. She doesn’t hesitate to begin a sexual relationship with Wesley.

Bianca’s father is an alcoholic who begins drinking again after his wife asks for a divorce.

    I am 12 and I think it is appropriate to see for me and I’m in 6th grade the people in my class say its hilarious and already watched it so I think I should be able to but my mom said maybe!!!
